How it works

The Farsi Nevis keyboard converts each word with a rule engine plus over 100,000 real-world corrections. It knows common Finglish spellings — "kh" for خ, "gh" for ق or غ, "aa" for آ — and uses its corrections for the words that letter-by-letter rules get wrong.

What is Finglish?

Finglish (also called Pinglish) is Farsi written with English letters — the way many Farsi speakers type when a Farsi keyboard isn't handy: "merci", "khubi?", "doset daram". It's fast to type but hard to read. Farsi Nevis turns it back into proper Farsi script.
