Speech to Text (Voice Typing)
Dictate in Persian, in Any App
Farsi Nevis turns your voice into Persian text with live, streaming transcription. Speak naturally and watch your words appear in real time — then paste the result wherever you were typing.
How to Use Voice Typing
1. Tap the Microphone on the Keyboard
While typing in any app with the Farsi Nevis keyboard, tap the microphone icon on the keyboard toolbar. The Farsi Nevis app opens and starts listening immediately — no extra taps needed.
You can also start from the Speech to Text button on the app's home screen.
2. Speak Naturally
Your words appear on screen as you speak. Each dictation session can run up to 2 minutes, and you can dictate again to continue — new text is appended to what you already have.
3. Copy or Paste Your Text
- Tap Copy to put the transcript on your clipboard.
- Or simply switch back to the app you were typing in: the transcript is waiting right on the keyboard — tap it to paste.
Good to Know
- Internet required. Voice typing streams your audio to a speech-recognition service while you dictate; nothing is recorded when you're not dictating.
- Microphone permission. The first time you use voice typing, iOS asks for microphone access.
- Free minutes every month. Free users get a monthly allowance of dictation minutes (with a bigger welcome bonus in your first month). FarsiNevis Pro removes the limit entirely.
