Type Farsi the way you already do​

The Farsi Nevis keyboard converts Farsi written with English letters (Pinglish, also called Finglish) into Farsi script as you type. Write the way you're used to — salam chetori becomes «سلام چطوری» the moment you hit space.

Most words convert right on your device, even offline. The keyboard pairs a rule engine with over 100,000 real-world corrections, so tricky words usually come out right. With Full Access on, a word the built-in dictionary doesn't know is sent on its own — never your whole message — to get a better conversion.

Fixing a word​

Got a word that converted differently than you meant? No need to delete and retype:

  • Tap the Pinglish chip. While you type, the original Pinglish spelling shows above the keyboard. Tap it to edit the word in place or pick a different conversion.
  • Move the cursor onto any Farsi word you've already written and the keyboard shows its Pinglish spelling, so you can fix it anywhere in your text — not just the last word.
  • Pick a suggestion. Alternative spellings appear in the suggestion bar as you type; one tap swaps the word.

Along with conversion, Farsi Nevis predicts your next word in Farsi, right on your device, so common phrases take a tap instead of a string of keystrokes.
